Photography Session Update with Eased Restrictions | Melbourne Newborn & Family Photographer
I’m SOOOO excited to be allowed to be shooting sessions again!
However, I want to make sure I’m doing so in the safest way possible for both myself and my clients, and that I am following all of the latest guidelines.
After doing some research, there are currently no written restricted activity directions for professional photographers from The Department of Health and Human Services. However, after speaking with representatives from The National Corona Virus Helpline and Business Victoria Hotline, there are a few things I will now need to do to continue working both safely and legally.
I can now capture your family and newborns in your home IF:
I am within the 5 people you are socialising with in your home
I practice social distancing within your home at 1.5 meters
I use high hygiene practices
I handle newborns ONLY when necessary to my job as long as I am using high hygiene practices (washing hands thoroughly, using hand sanitiser, wearing clean clothes, etc).
I can capture your family outdoors IF:
I am within the 10 people you are socialising with outdoors
I practice social distancing and stay 1.5 meters from you
I use high hygiene practices
So I may have to wait a bit longer to have a newborn cuddle, but we now have confirmation that it is safe to go ahead with capturing your session! YAY!!!
I’m so happy to be allowed to work again, I’m now offering $100 off all sessions booked before the end of June!
These sessions can take place now or at a later date when further easing of restrictions happen, the choice is yours. Whether you want to capture your family, your new baby or one on the way, contact me now and we can chat. And for those with a new baby who would prefer to wait a bit longer for a session, check out my Tips to Take Your Own Newborn Photos, as well as a special offer just for you when you book in a session now.
I want to assure you that my business and I are prepared to follow any new guidelines as they are released and will continue to act responsibly. I’ll be staying updated on the latest information and will keep you informed of any further changes.
