Voice Competition & Collection | Melbourne Photographer

Today, I'm feeling incredibly humbled, honoured and grateful to have five of my images receive Honorable Mentions in the 2022 Voice competition.

Voice is a celebrated annual photography competition. Through each photographer’s singular lens, the Voice Competition & Collection provides a unique platform for real women to share real stories. And with more than 40,000 images entered each year, it has become one of the most powerful visual documentations by, of, and for photographers around the world.

I don't make my images for awards, recognition, likes and shares. I make them when I have the need to create. I make them when I feel the pull to pick up my camera. I make them when I'm feeling inspired. I make them for me. So when they resonate with others, it's quite a humbling experience.

The categories my images are a part of are Self Portrait, From Above, Layered and Pastel. I encourage you to pour your favourite drink and take some time from your day to go through the full gallery, it is truly inspiring.

Jenny Rusby is a natural light, lifestyle and documentary photographer and specialised newborn photographer, maternity photographer and family photographer. She services all areas of Victoria, including inner Melbourne suburbs such as Richmond, Northcote, Fitzroy, Collingwood, Malvern East, South Melbourne, Elwood, as well as outer south eastern subrubs, bayside areas such as Morntington, Sorrento and Red Hill. She also services the west of Melbourne and will travel to Geelong and further on request.
